The role
As Head of Market Access Sweden, you will have the overall responsibility for pricing, reimbursement and market access activities in Sweden.
Reporting to the Market Access & HEOR Director Nordics, you will drive the Swedish market access strategies across the product portfolio, ensuring timely patient access to innovative oncology treatments.
While the role does not currently include direct people management, it carries significant strategic responsibility and offers a high degree of autonomy. You will work closely with local cross-functional teams, the Nordic Market Access organization and Global Market Access colleagues.
The position is primarily home-based, with a preference for candidates located in the Stockholm area to facilitate collaboration with colleagues and external stakeholders when needed.
As a member of the Nordic Market Access Leadership Team, you will contribute to the continued development of the market access function, strategic decision-making and prioritization across the Nordic markets.
What you will do
- Lead pricing, reimbursement and market access activities in Sweden.
- Contribute to development of reimbursement dossiers, economic evaluations and evidence generation together with the HEOR team.
- Lead reimbursement submissions and pricing negotiations with Swedish healthcare authorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with national, regional and local stakeholders, including TLV, the NT Council and regional decision-makers.
- Monitor developments within the Swedish healthcare environment and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Develop pricing strategies, manage pricing systems, and proactively supervise pricing developments.
- Support launch planning and market access readiness for future oncology products.
- Take active participation in the Swedish Pharma Association to keep up to date with current developments and contribute to shaping the environment.
What you bring
- A university degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Business or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- At least 5 years of experience within Market Access in the Swedish pharmaceutical market.
- Solid experience of pharmaceutical reimbursement submissions, pricing negotiations, value communication and payer engagement in Sweden.
- Comprehensive understanding of health economic evidence generation
- Experience from oncology is highly desirable.
- Strong business acumen combined with strategic and analytical thinking.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in Swedish and English.
