  • Plan, execute and document service activities independently, including ordering and replacing parts when required.
  • Respond to customer questions regarding product features, technical issues and upgrades.
  • Perform initial triage of customer complaints and manage or escalate cases as appropriate.
  • Act as a technical interface between customers and internal functions such as R&D, development and production.
  • Provide technical guidance and user training to customers and contribute to a high-quality customer experience.
  • Build professional, long-term relationships with customers and represent Hamilton in a professional manner.

The primary focus of the role will be supporting customers and field service activities in Oslo and the surrounding region.

What you bring

  • A technical degree or equivalent education, for example in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, automation or a related field
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of technically advanced equipment
  • Experience from field service, technical support or a similar customer-facing technical role

  • Experience working independently with planning, execution and documentation of service activities
  • A customer-oriented approach and the ability to communicate technical information clearly
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Norwegian
  • A valid driving licence

Experience from automation, robotics, mechatronics, refrigeration, medical technology, laboratory equipment or other complex technical equipment is advantageous. Experience from life science or Hamilton products is beneficial but not essential, as product-specific training will be provided.

Personal qualities

You are independent, reliable and comfortable taking responsibility for your own customers and service activities. You approach technical problems in a structured and solution-oriented way and remain calm when issues need to be resolved under pressure.
