For our client LINK Medical Research we are now looking for a Business Development Manager in Denmark.

The Role:
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing long-term relationships with potential clients, and negotiating profitable deals. Generating leads, scheduling appointments for the Business Development and Operations teams, and assisting with proposals and coordination are integral aspects of the role. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive to identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting, qualifying and generating sales through interactions with potential clients
  • Establishing and cultivating relationships with potential clients and partners
  • Managing, tracking, and following up on leads
  • Expanding the client base by securing contracts with new customers
  • Negotiating and closing business deals that promote sustained revenue
  • Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of a full-service CRO business and value proposition
  • Conducting business presentations for potential clients
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure client needs are met
  • Tracking and reporting on sales activities while using relevant sales performance metrics
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in targeted markets
  • Tracking industry trends and competitor activities
  • Contributing to the company's growth objectives by achieving targeted sales goals

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Associate or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and partners
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Business acumen with a strategic ability
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Possess the soft skills needed to negotiate with others in difficult situations

Requirements:

  • Experience in the Life Science industry (e.g., CRO, CDMO, pharma, biotech, medical device)
  • Educational Requirements: Associate degree or higher in a business or scientific discipline (Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field).

For the right candidate, there is potential for growth within the Marketing department. This individual could be entrusted with specific marketing activities to enhance LINK Medical's external visibility (e.g., on LinkedIn, the website, and webinars). The position is based in LINK Medicals office in central Copenhagen, working on a hybrid basis.
